Find below a lesson plan that I made for my Science class at St. Thomas University. In this lesson, students explore the effects that rest has on muscles by doing an experiment with a partner. This lesson includes a variety of formative assessment which includes: teacher posing questions, think-pair-share, experiment and filling out the data chart, student discussion, student journal reflection, and students write questions.
